Bockfest is back, baby, and we’re serving up our famous Raclette brats with bratwurst from LK, Rhined pickled veggies, Dave’s kick ass mustard, a big ole scrape of raclette, on hoagie bun for $15.

From open to close all weekend long we’ll have MadTree Guten Bock and 50 West Maibock, German wine flights, cheese flights, walking charcuterie cups, and Raclette Sandos available to eat in house, on our heated back courtyard, or to take with you while you walk around the festival (yes, even the wine).

This Valentine’s Day, give your Valentine (or Palentine) what they really want: a night of discovering the art of wine and cheese pairing. What’s the best bubbly to enjoy with an ooey, gooey brie? Which cheese pairs perfectly with your favorite romantic Pinot Noir? Is stinky cheese sexy? We’ll answer all these questions and more.

Bar opens at 6pm and remains open after class for more sips and swirls. Class begins at 6:30.

Tickets include a flight of four wines and a cheese plate with four cheeses to pair, plus an hour long guided tasting. Tickets are non-refundable. Life happens - if something pops up, you are welcome to pass them on to a friend or family member. Ticket includes gratuity. If you are coming with a group, please purchase your tickets together in one transaction so we can make sure you’re seated together.

Join us at the Bloom Room as we get a little bit out of our comfort zone!

What’s sake?

Sake is a rice wine! The foundations of sake are quality rice, clean water, koji mold and yeast. They are combined and fermented in precise processes that have been refined over the centuries. Typically filtered (although unfiltered products are also available), the resulting clear to slightly yellowish rice wines have an alcohol content of around 15 percent and relatively mild flavor profiles, ranging from light and crisp to richer, more substantial, fruity notes. Sake pairs well with almost any kind of food but compliments the delicate flavors of traditional Japanese meals particularly well – and wouldn’t ya know it, goes great with cheese!

We’ll be tasting and learning about 4 different sakes paired with 4 different cheeses.
